The Tournament Bass Team

The Michigan State University Tournament Bass Team is one of the oldest Collegiate Fishing Teams in the country.

The club was started in the mid 1990's with the goal of allowing Spartan Angler's to compete against other anglers from around the Midwest.

With the creation of 2 Michigan based collegiate circuits (Both started by MSU FIshing Club Alumni,) we have made the in state collegiate tournaments the primary focus of the club

The club is funded solely by member dues, financial sponsorships and donations

Neither the club nor the university provides fishing boats for our members.

All boats our member owned or loaned to our members from a private source

We do not offer scholarship's.

Collegiate fishing is not an NCAA Regulated sport and we are only a club. We do not offer scholarships and no NCAA regulated athletic scholarships can be given in collegiate fishing
