The Executive Board
All clubs at Michigan State are run by a group of students who have been elected to the E-Board by fellow club members. Our E-Board is comprised of 5 positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Social Media Director. The E-board handles all the responsibilities of the club and organizes all the events.
Casey Shell
President
Casey is a junior in Civil Engineering. He is a multi-species angler with walleye being his favorite species to chase. He is from Lake Zurich, Illinois, and spends a lot of time on the Great Lakes trolling for salmon. Casey is always looking for opportunities to fish, from inland lakes to the big water.
Lucas is a sophomore in Civil Engineering. He enjoys tournament bass fishing the most, but won't pass up an opportunity to get on the water. He is from Almont, Michigan, and spends a lot of time on inland lakes but loves fishing the big water. Most of all, he loves taking new people out and introducing them to the wonderful sport of fishing!
Mikka Luoto
Treasurer
Mikka is a junior majoring in finance. He is a multi-species fisherman and will target whatever is biting at the time.
Jackson Van Houten
Secretary
Jackson won the club's very prestigious award of "Freshman of the Year"! He is a multi-species angler and loves fly fishing. He is a junior in political science prelaw.
Jack Halliwill
Social Media Director
Jack is a sophomore from Grand Ledge, Michigan. He loves most types of fishing and is always open to trying something new. He enjoys tournament bass fishing and hopes to grow the club in terms of tournament fishing.
