We Strive to provide opportunities for all students at Michigan State University to get out on the water and enjoy the fishing opportunities that the state of Michigan has to offer!
One of our core goals is to give every member the opportunity to be a better angler. Whether that's teaching them to fish or helping them become an expert, we do everything we can to allow our members to achieve their goals
Our Anglers
Our members consist of a diverse group of anglers with varying skill sets. We have members with very little experience and a desire to learn all the way up to dedicated tournament anglers. Whether you're looking to make friends and learn to fish or if you have goals to make it in the industry, all Spartan Anglers will feel at home in our club.
ABOUT US
We are the Michigan State University Fishing Club and Bass Fishing team.
The purpose of our club is to promote angling opportunities for students by providing a social network for anglers at MSU. We strive to provide opportunities for anglers to meet, exchange information, and plan angling expeditions while they are a student at Michigan State. The club is also highly involved in organizing and participating in conservation, education and advocacy activities that promote angling.
The Competitive bass fishing side of the club is focused on organizing and participating in fishing tournaments across the state of Michigan and the nation as a whole. Many of our members fish the Michigan Collegiate Bass Circuit and College Bass Tour in State and several of our members fish the FLW and BASS national circuits.
